Public Transit: The San Diego Trolley runs through key areas including downtown, Little Italy, Old Town, and Mission Valley — a fun and affordable option for sightseeing. Car Rentals: If you’re planning to explore beyond downtown — such as a beach day in La Jolla, wine tasting in Temecula, or a day trip to Coronado — renting a car is recommended.
